- Bees’ Gifts for your Valentine – please support this and share it
http://salsa3.salsalabs.com/o/1881/p/salsa/web/common/public/content?content_item_KEY=13426 - As an organic farmer and someone who fights for the protection of our bees, I request you please to sign this and to pass it on. If you don’t speak French: it is the plea of a young viticulture, Emmanuel Giboulot, who is being prosecuted for refusing to treat his vines with an insecticide that kills off the cicadelle pest. This insecticide kills off the cicadelles, yes, but it is also known to be dangerous/lethal for bees and other pollinators. There are alternative ways of treating the cicadelles and the alternative is the route he has chosen, but he is to be prosecuted. He has been a successful organic winemaker for many years. Please sign your support for Emmanuel and his right to produce organic grapes and protect his land. Thank you
