Carol Drinkwater in conversation with Rachel Sloane

Carol Drinkwater’s books, including her memoirs set on her olive farm in the south of France, have sold over one million copies worldwide. More recently she has written novels such as The House of the Edge of the Cliff… a wonderful story of France and the swinging sixties, An Act of Love set in the Second World War, The Lost Girl and The Forgotten Summer.

She is an award-winning actress, best known for playing Helen Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small in the 1970’s and, in 2021, shared her life in Provence  in a Channel Five TV series. Having been forced by Covid to join in the Felixstowe Book Festival online for two years, this is third time lucky and Carol is coming to Harvest House to speak about her books, and her career as an author and actress.
